The Costa Tropical boasts an average 320 days of sunshine a year. We specialise in detached holiday villas with private pools in Salobrena - a lovely town with plenty of character and Spanish charm. Our villas are situated on Monte de los almendros (mountain of almonds) - a beautiful urbanisation on the hillside overlooking the old town and seaside of Salobrena. The old town of Salobrena sits on a rock directly overlooking the sea and right at the top is the 10th century Moorish castle. All the houses are painted (salobrena) white and at night time the castle is floodlit and the white street lights twinkle making a wonderful sight.

Salobrena is typically Spanish and the English language is not widely used although there are some English bars and restaurants. Tourism is understated and although there is a little night life it is very quiet and unlike noisey parts on the Costa del Sol. It's an area where, particularly at the weekend, most of the tourists are from within Spain, cities like Granada, Seville, Jaén, Cordoba and Madrid.

There are many good restuarants, bars and chiringuitos (beach bars) dotted along the coast plus daily markets in the towns.
